Google Calendar Integration Privacy Information

How do we protect your information?

Google Calendar Integration and User Data Protection
Our platform allows users to connect their Google Calendar to schedule and manage meetings (such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams) directly from within the application. We only request access to the specific Google Calendar scope necessary for this functionality.

Scope Requested
We request the following OAuth scope from Google:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events

This scope allows our application to create, update, and delete events on calendars that users have explicitly connected through our platform. We do not access or view any calendar events outside of those created by our system.

Data Access
We only access Google Calendar data related to events created via our platform. We do not retrieve or display the user’s full calendar contents, nor do we access events that were not created by our system.

Data Usage
The access provided by the above scope is strictly used to:

  • Create calendar events when meetings are scheduled via our CRM.
  • Update those events when meeting details change (such as title, time, or participants).
  • Delete those events if the meeting is cancelled within our platform.

Data Storage and Protection
OAuth access tokens are securely stored in our database using Amazon Web Services Key Management Service (AWS KMS) encryption. This ensures that sensitive data is protected using industry-standard security practices. Access to these tokens is limited to authorized system components only.

User Control and Data Deletion
Users can disconnect their Google Calendar integration at any time within the application. When a user revokes calendar access:

  •  All associated Google OAuth tokens are permanently deleted from our database.
  • No calendar data is retained once access is removed.

Data Sharing
We do not sell, share, or disclose Google Calendar data or access tokens to any third party under any circumstances.
